While not the least expensive option, you definitely get what you pay for. An absolutely lovely, isolated spa resort. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The owners were spectacular hosts - the resort lost power around dinner time and they invited us to the dining room where the fireplace was lit, candles everywhere, and served us a wonderful mix of meats, cheeses, bread, wine, and even a homemade dessert using the preserves they make on site. The hospitality was superb as are the facilities. Highly recommended

unreal, beautiful property near our village of Sao Luis. Farm animals around to add to amusement. jacuzzi outside on balcony was enjoyable. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was good too. We booked a massage with 2 lovely ladies, the massages were AMAZING. The two ladies should be well complimented on their abilities. Best part of our stay and suuuper relaxing. I fell asleep hahaha great experience.

Such peace and quiet, and impeccable service. We've really enjoyed our stay, the bath in our terrace, and the warm welcome when checking in. The short hiking trails and nature were absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Breakfast was awesome. We also absolutely enjoyed the full body couple's massage. We left as renewed people, the skill of both masseuses was enormous.

The attention to detail in the room's design and cleanliness was impressive, making my stay truly enjoyable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep, and very romantic. The hotel's amenities exceeded my expectations. The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu for our breakfast, and the food was both delicious and beautifully presented. I particularly appreciated the breathtaking view from the terrace, adding a touch of serenity to my dining experience. The location was ideal, with convenient access to local attractions and a peaceful environment that allowed for a relaxing retreat. We have used jacuzzi, amazing. In conclusion, I highly recommend Herdade do Amarelo to anyone seeking a peaceful and romantic getaway. Booked a weekend as a romantic surprise, was also surprised by the place. Staff was very friendly and eventually would know who we were since the hotel only has 12 suites, and they work fast, for example breakfast you can order in advance for tomororw right after today's breakfast, so you can arrive the next day, sit and have your breakfast ready as you have ordered. They do not have a full blown restaurant at the hotel but can provide you with some light meals if asked in advance, which was a nice touch. Rooms were clean, pretty much with some Alentejo and Arabic appearance. Loved the suspended jacuzzi overlooking the hills, it was really magical, and my partner enjoyed a very nice full body massage. What an amazing experience.. The team is amazing, the ameneties are great and breakfast is superb. The animals around the farm are super cute and people frendly. The view from Oliveira Suite it was a dream come true. It was a shame that there was no bikes available and that the honesty bar was not operational... Once again, the breakfast team was lovely and we will definitely come back to revisit. Thank you.
